Jerangau Series

Soil developed on granodiorite; strong brown (7.5YR 4/6, 5/6, 5/8); heavy clay; weak, fine granular and subangular blocky; friable; deep; somewhat excessive drained; occurs on undulating to steep terrain; cation exchange capacity < 5cmol(+) per kg soil; low base saturation; oxic diagnostic horizon.

Occurrence

Soil occurs in the interior part of Terengganu around Hulu Terengganu District, Pahang and Johor State.
