Soil developed on old beach ridges; grayish brown (10YR 5/2, 5/3) to brownish yellow (10YR 6/6); medium sand; single grained; deep; excessively drained; occurs on flat to undulating terrain; cation exchange capacity <5cmol(+) per kg soil, low base saturation, no diagnostic horizon.

Common soils occur on old beach ridges in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia
