Kuala Kedah Series

Soil developed on non-acid sulfate marine clay soil; greenish gray (5G 5/1); few dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/6) mottles on ped faces; clay to heavy clay; moderate to strong coarse angular and prismatic structure; sticky and plastic; shallow; very poorly drained; occurs on flat terrain; cation exchange capacity 20-25 cmol(+) per kg soil; high base saturation; no diagnostic horizon.

Occurrence

Common soils occur in West-Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
