Benta Series

Soil developed on mixed rocks; dark brown (10YR 3/3); clay; moderate, medium subangular blocky; friable to firm; moderately deep to weathered rock fragments; well drained; occurs on undulating to steep terrains; cation exchange capacity >10 cmol(+) per kg soil; high base saturation; argillic diagnostic horizon.

Occurrence

Common soils occur mostly at Central Pahang.
