Briah Series
Soil developed on non acid sulfate marine clay soil; light brownish gray (10YR 6/2); many mottles yellowish red (7.5YR 6/6, 6/8, 7/6, 7.8) and brownish yellow (10YR 6/6, 6/8); clay to heavy clay; moderate; medium to coarse subangular and angular blocky; sticky; deep; somewhat poor to imperfectly drained; occurs on flat terrain; cation exchange capacity >20 cmol(+) per kg. soil; low base saturation.
Occurrence
Common soils occur on coastal area especially in the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
