Soil developed on granite; reddish yellow (7.5YR 6/6, 6/8) to brownish yellow (10YR 6/6, 6/8); fine sandy clay; weak to moderate, fine to medium subangular blocky; friable; deep; well drained; occur on rolling to hilly terrains; cation exchange capacity <5 cmol(+) per kg soil; low base saturation; argillic diagnostic horizon.
Occurrence
Common soils occur in Peninsular Malaysia.
